COLUMBIA — After Gov. Matt Blunt declared he will not run for re-election Tuesday afternoon, Missourians began posting their reactions online. While the majority of blogs reflected residents’ excitement over Blunt’s decision, some questioned the reasons behind Blunt’s announcement. Last year’s e-mail deletion scandal and the threat from Jay Nixon’s campaign were reoccurring topics on popular blog Web sites. Other bloggers said Blunt would not have won a re-election campaign because of voter dissatisfaction with big issues such as Medicaid and MOHELA.
