Hickman High girls basketball team loses in championship game of the Ameritime Classic

The Hickman High Kewpies lost to St. Joseph Academy 54-43 in the championship game of the Ameritime Classic tournament in St. Louis Saturday evening.

Senior guard Yvonne Anderson led the Kewpies with 19 points and junior forward Chasity Prince added nine points.

St. Joseph was led by senior Patrice King, who had 17 points. Senior Myrtie Reilly had 12 points and junior Ashley Hanlen had 13 points.

The Kewpies next game is 6 p.m. Tuesday at Jefferson City.
