COLUMBIA — The Hickman girls’ basketball team defeated Jackson 57-30 Friday night in Jackson.

Chastity Prince led the Kewpies with 22 points, Yvonne Anderson had nine, and Miriam Tesfamikael added eight.

“I thought we did an excellent job against the zone tonight,” Kewpies coach Tonya Mirts said. “Chastity was 4-of-4 from 3-point range tonight, and I think this sets us up well for the District tournament next week.”

The Kewpies led 32-15 at half.

Jackson was led by Cassandra Ballinger, who finished with 11 points.
