The Missouri Theatre, including its acoustic dome, built in 1928, is currently undergoing extended renovation and is expected to be reopened during the second half of this year.

This is what remains of the annual Egg Catapult contest, part of MU's Engineers' Week that started Monday. Six teams competed to build an egg launcher to hit a frying pan target 60 feet away.
Matt Smittgens works high in the branches of the bur oak tree in McBaine on Tuesday. While Smittgens was cutting limbs, other workers were taking soil samples and conducting other tests from below.
