We respectfully urge a vote for Fred Parry for Boone Hospital Board of Trustees.
Fred’s and Bob McDavid’s courageous and honorable service in challenging the status quo on the lease renewal was perhaps the most meaningful, brave and proper act of public service by any public servants, paid or otherwise, in recent memory. Fred and Bob drew a line in the sand and told powerful, intimidating and influential forces that they were not going to roll over but were going to insist on a fair and arms-length deal for us folks without a seat at the table. Their actions saved the county millions of dollars that otherwise would have been sent to St. Louis. We hope folks realize what a huge act of courage and integrity Fred and Bob took in performing their duty as trustees. Both had no personal gain and much to lose personally, but both men stood firm and forced BJC HealthCare to sign a better lease than would have resulted without their efforts. Acts of unselfish and honorable public service of this magnitude should be amply rewarded with the appreciation of the public and an overwhelming vote for Fred Parry for trustee in the upcoming election. Thank you for your consideration.

I am a parent of a 2nd grader and a kindergartner at Fairview. Over the past couple of years I have grown increasingly alarmed at the blinkered approach of the Columbia school board to the obvious failings of the integrated math program.
As you know each voter will have the opportunity to vote for three candidates. I need to cast my votes wisely but I have had great difficulty getting information about the views of most candidates in relation to the CPS math program. Do you know where I can go to get any information on the candidate’s positions on the CPS math program?
Quite simply at this point, I am a single issue voter and am willing to give my vote to the candidates who want to change the CPS math program.
