COLUMBIA — Missouri diver Kendra Melnychuk, a junior, placed 11th on Friday in 3-meter springboard event at the NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships. Melnychuk’s finish at the championships is the highest ever for a MU diver male or female. Melnychuk also became the first All-American diver for the Tigers since 1982. On Saturday Melnychuk will participate in the platform diving competition.
