Sheriff’s deputies looking for two men on suspicion of attempted robbery

COLUMBIA — The Boone County Sheriff’s Department is looking for two men on suspicion of attempting to rob a man at gunpoint outside his home Wednesday, according to a news release.

The two men left the residence on the 7100 block of Wagon Trail Road in a light blue vehicle driven by a female before deputies arrived around 12:15 p.m., according to the release.

After searching the area, deputies and Columbia police officers did not locate the suspects, according to the release.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 875-TIPS (8477).
