The Missouri women’s golf team sits in 19th place after the second round at the NCAA East Region Tournament in Athens, Ga. The final round will be played Saturday.

After carding a three-over 75 shot game, sophomore Julia Potter sits 14th in the individual standings with a two-day total of 148.

There is some close competition within the Tiger lineup, with three Missouri golfers sitting within two strokes of each other. Redshirt freshman Lindsey Haupt shot an 80 today giving her a 36-hole total of 158. Michelle Morgan shot an 83 today giving her a total of 159 going into the last day of play. Madde Augustsson now has a total of 160 after shooting an 82 today.

The top eight teams of the tournament and the top three individual finishers who are not members of the advancing teams will qualify for the NCAA Championships on May 20-23 in Albuquerque, N.M.
