COLUMBIA — After a long day of racing and many close calls, three children came out on top at the 2008 Mid-Missouri Soap Box Derby. Eight children placed in the stock and super stock division, and six placed in the master division. Kelsey Zwonitzer, who raced in the stock division, brought home the first place trophy. Nathaniel Adams battled for the top spot until the end, but Zwonitzer overcame him and won. Trevor Tatlow, who raced in the super stock division, faced off against Christopher Willard. The two competitors had to race several times before first place was decided, but Tatlow won by a hair. Kaylor Wright, who drove all the way from Houston to compete, took first in the master division.
