COLUMBIA — Two men were arrested Friday after police searched a home in central Columbia for cocaine, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department.

Glen W. Vaughn, 49, and Reginald B. Brimmage, 40, were taken into police custody at about 5 p.m. after police served a narcotic search warrant at 707 Wilkes Blvd. Police found a small amount of cocaine and drug paraphernalia, the release stated.

Vaughn and Brimmage were charged with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. Brimmage also had an outstanding warrant.

Vaughn was taken to a local hospital after sustaining a minor injury, according to the release. He was then returned to police custody.

As of Saturday evening, Vaughn and Brimmage were both being held at the Boone County Jail. Vaughn’s bail was set at $10,000, and Brimmage’s was $12,000, according to a jail staff member.
