MU volleyball takes down Maryland

The MU volleyball team opened the weekend on the road with a sweep of the Maryland Terrapins, 26-24, 25-14, 25-15. Sophomore Weiwen Wang led the Tigers with 11 kills. Missouri had an attacking percentage of .219, compared to .019 for Maryland.

Sophomore libero Caitlyn Vann had 13 digs for the Tigers. The team, participating in the Spring Hill Suites at Arundel Mills Invitational at Maryland, has a double-header Saturday. They will play Kentucky and St. John's.
