The Stephens College cross country team placed fifth at the Maryville Cross Country Classic on Saturday.

While the 5 kilometer course was slightly soggy the conditions didn't keep Stephens' Rachel Henderson from finishing seventh in a time of 23 minutes, 38 seconds. She is the second medalist ever in the three year history of the program.

Fontbonne took home first place at the meet, which took place in Chesterfield.
