Bruins nip New Franklin

The Rock Bridge softball team won 1-0 on Monday over host New Franklin.

Pitcher Lauren Fuller threw a four-hit shutout with nine strikeouts for the victory.

Catcher Brianne Bond drove in the game's only run. Third baseman Caroline Sicht, center fielder Nicole Jamison, and designated hitter Danielle Linneman each had two hits. The Bruins host Warrensburg at home tonight.
