Rock Bridge starts homecoming week with parade

COLUMBIA — Rock Bridge High School kicks off its homecoming festivities with Friday's parade with Hickman High School. Here is a list of next week's activities:

Sept. 26: Joint Providence Bowl Parade with Hickman High School at 3 p.m. in downtown Columbia.*

Oct. 2: The nine queen candidates arrive in Jeeps and are introduced at the bonfire near the baseball field, which resembles a pep rally from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Oct. 3: Homecoming assembly in the gym at 9:22 a.m.

Football game against Helias High School at 7 p.m. The queen will be announced at half-time.

Oct. 4: Homecoming dance in the Rock Bridge commons from 8 to 11 p.m.

*The parade route is through downtown on Broadway, heading west from College Avenue to Providence Road.
