Author to hold book reading

COLUMBIA — Author Ibtisam Barakat will read from her new book, "Tasting the Sky: A Palestinian Childhood" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Jesse Wrench Auditorium, in the Memorial Union South on Hitt Street. 

The free, public event is part of the fall series sponsored by the MU Center for the Literary Arts.
