The Boone County treasurer is responsible for receiving, disbursing and investing all county funds and ensuring that monies are correctly segregated into separate funds as required by law. The treasurer issues all general obligation bonds and revenue bonds for Boone County. Also serves on the county's Self-Health Insurance Trust Fund Board and provides oversight for several financial and non-financial projects, including the Neighborhood Assistance Program, Courthouse Square projects and community art displays for public buildings. The treasurer is paid $82,014 annually.
