Rock Bridge defeated Hickman 8-1 in girls tennis Wednesday at Bethel Park.

Hickman got its lone victory when Dina Kaissi beat Kelsey Kinderknecht in the No. 1 singles match. The Bruins lost the first set in both the first and second doubles matches but came back to win both.

"I thought our girls played very well tonight and we look forward to going into the district tournament with some momentum," Rock Bridge coach Ben Loeb said.

The Bruins' record improved to 11-7.
