Cougars volleyball splits matches

The Columbia College volleyball team split its two matches Saturday at the Lindenwood University Classic in St. Louis.

The Cougars fell 25-19, 16-25, 20-25, 25-16, 18-16 to Madonna (Mich.) University. They defeated host Lindenwood 25-18, 23-25, 27-25, 25-18 later in the day. Flavia Lino notched 39 kills over the two matches for the Cougars, who play next at home at 7 p.m. Monday.
