COLUMBIA — Police arrested a 25-year old man on suspicion of burglary and property damage late Thursday night, according to a Boone County Sheriff's Department news release.
Justin Nicholson of Columbia was arrested after forcing entry into the residence of an acquaintance on the 100 block of Rainbow Drive, the release stated. Nicholson left after the resident saw him.
Nicholson was arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary and second-degree property damage, the release said.
Nicholson posted $1,000 bail Friday afternoon. Bond for the property damage was $500, according to the release.
