SCOTT'S CORNER — Two northeast Missouri residents were dead following a two-vehicle accident.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said 73-year-old Walter W. Chapman and 71-year-old Kay Chapman, both of Bowling Green, were killed Saturday morning.

The patrol said the vehicle Walter Chapman was driving failed to yield to a pickup truck and collided on U.S. 54 near Scott's Corner in Audrain County.

The driver of the pickup, 17-year-old Jacob S. Cullen of Washington received minor injuries while his passenger, 17-year-old Amanda J. Heimann, also of Washington, was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
