KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Two men were found dead inside a Kansas City apartment after police received a call from an anonymous caller Saturday morning.

Kansas City Police found the bodies around 9 a.m. after receiving two calls about shots being fired the night before. Spokesman Richard Lockhart said the men appeared to be murdered, but did not release a cause of death.

Police received one call about shots being fired a little after 9 p.m. Friday night, but couldn't find anything in the area. Another call came in about 10 minutes later, saying the shots may have come from inside one of the apartment, but the door was locked and officers didn't notice anything out of order.
