We undoubtedly will soon be told that the University of Missouri System will need more money and that it is the answer to all its problems. It may need more to fulfill its land-grant mission, seemingly often forgotten. Tuesday's paper gives you an idea of where they might save money. For example, spending money, even and especially by a government grant on studying whether men have their self-esteem bruised by viewing sexy models in mindless magazines and vain TV shows.
