The Columbia College men’s basketball team came up big Tuesday, topping Missouri Valley College  73-60. The Cougars improve to 7-1 on the season.

“We really played a consistent game, and we were happy to get so many players involved,” said head coach Bob Burchard.  “Our rotation of players worked for us tonight, and it was one of the strongest finishes we have had all year.”

Leading the way offensively for Columbia was Quintin Totta and Jason Ellis with 15 points each. Brett Hoskins added 10.

The Cougars  host the Best Western Thanksgiving Classic in The Arena of Southwell Complex on Friday and Saturday.
