COLUMBIA — Two Columbia pedestrians were injured in a hit-and-run incident Monday evening as they were crossing Rogers Street, according to a Columbia Police Department news release.
The two pedestrians, 43-year-old Kenneth Robinson and 36-year-old Pamela Ming, were walking south on a sidewalk of Providence Road around 5:25 p.m. when they were struck by a dark, older model two-door sedan, the release said.
The vehicle left the scene, police said. Both victims were taken to University Hospital for treatment, the release said. As of 9:15 p.m. Monday, both Robinson and Ming were listed in fair condition at the hospital.
Police are still investigating the incident.
