Columbia man injured in motorcycle accident

COLUMBIA — A 29-year-old man suffered minor injuries after his motorcycle crashed into a car Thursday afternoon.

While driving north on Providence Road on a Kawasaki motorcycle, David Bond slid sideways into the back of a stopped Honda Accord, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department.

Bond was taken to University Hospital by ambulance around 3:30 p.m. He had not been released as of 6 p.m. Thursday. Bond was issued a ticket for hitting another vehicle.
