COLUMBIA — Following the retirement of Phyllis Chase as superintendent of the Columbia Public Schools, the search has been on for her successor. After more than a dozen finalists, five remain. K-12 Education Editor Elizabeth Brixey talks to KBIA's Sean Powers about where the Columbia Public School Board is in hiring a new superintendent.
