Columbia College women win in St. Louis

The Cougars won their 20th game of the season, defeating Harris-Stowe 76-58 Thursday in St. Louis.

Columbia College, ranked 16th in the nation, is 20-2 overall and 7-1 in the American Midwest Conference. The Hornets fell to to 4-12 and 3-4 in league play.

The Cougars led just 40-38 at halftime, but outscored Harris-Stowe 36-20 in the second half.

Boonville native Rachel Oswald led the Cougars with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Brittany Taylor added 14 and nine rebounds, while Whitney Davis had nine assists.
