Cougar men scrape by Harris-Stowe in second half

The Cougars improved to 4-3 in the American Midwest Conference with a 70-57 win over Harris-Stowe on Thursday in St. Louis.

Columbia College (15-6 overalll) led 32-20 at halftime and just barely outscored Harris-Stowe 38-37 in the second half. The Cougars outrebounded Harris-Stowe 44-33.

Jason Ellis led the Cougars with 23 points, six rebounds and four assists. Christian Lewis scored.
