HARRISONVILLE — The wife of a Missouri man charged with fathering four children with his teenage daughter is due in court on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.

The 47-year-old woman is scheduled for a case review in Cass County District Court on Thursday, two weeks after her husband was arrested on charges in the death of one of the babies. Authorities say she did little to stop her daughter's sexual abuse.

The Associated Press is withholding family members' names to protect the identity of the daughter, an alleged sexual assault victim.

The man is charged with second-degree murder in the death of a baby months after it was born in November 2006, after not receiving medical treatment for pneumonia.

The man also is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, statutory rape and two counts each of incest and abandoning a corpse.
