ST. LOUIS — The University of Missouri-St. Louis said the Anheuser-Busch Foundation has pledged $2.5 million over the next five years for new construction at its College of Business Administration.

The university called it the largest gift in the college's 42-year history.

The university is in the early stages of planning and fundraising for a new building to house the business school's classrooms, research, technology and meeting facilities under one roof.

Anheuser-Busch and its foundation have funded several university projects, including the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center in 2000.
