Cougars women move up to No. 14

COLUMBIA – The Columbia College women’s basketball team moved to No. 14 in this week’s NAIA rankings.

The Cougars are 24-2 overall and sit atop the American Midwest Conference with an 11-1 division record.

Forward Rachel Oswald was named AMC Player of the Week after leading Columbia College to victories over conference opponents Missouri Baptist and Illinois-Springfield. In the two games combined, Oswald recorded 47 points, 11 rebounds, two blocked shots and five steals.

The Cougars play AMC rival McKendree at 5:30 p.m. today in Lebanon, Ill.
