Wednesday, February 18, 2009 | 11:28 a.m. CST

CAMERON — An Amber Alert for a 3-year-old northwest Missouri girl and her noncustodial grandmother has been canceled after the child was found safe.

Authorities say 48-year-old Carla Kay Bell and Cheyenne Ross were found at about 9 a.m. Wednesday in Kingdom City, about 175 miles southeast of Cameron, where the child was abducted. The girl is reportedly in good condition.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Paul Reinsch said law enforcement officers located Bell and the girl after a radio listener reported seeing a vehicle described in the Amber Alert.

Cameron police say Bell abducted her granddaughter and left in a white sport utility vehicle that belongs to the child's mother. Police said Bell suffers from mental problems.
