IMPERIAL — The longtime superintendent of the Windsor C-1 School District has been placed on administrative leave.

The Windsor Board of Education unanimously voted this week to place Rudy Duran on immediate paid leave from the Imperial school district. The board had no comment on the reason for the decision.

Parents and community members received a letter informing them of the move.

Robert Borman was appointed interim superintendent.

The Jefferson County district has about 3,000 students.
