Columbia College faces Cambellsville in NAIA women's basketball tournament

COLUMBIA — The Columbia College women's basketball team, which received an at-large bid to the NAIA women's basketball tournament, will play Campbellsville University from Kentucky in the first round.

The game starts at 9 a.m., next Thursday at Oman Arena in Jackson, Tenn. The tournament has 32-teams and is single elimination.

The Cougars finished the season at 28-4, but did not receive an automatic bid after they were upset by McKendree in the American Midwest Conference tournament semifinals.
