No. 14 Missouri softball beats Coastal Carolina

Stacy Delaney won her third game of the season and Lindsey Ubrun drove in five runs in the 9-0 win on Friday.

COLUMBIA — The No. 14 Missouri softball team defeated host Coastal Carolina tournament with a 9-0 win in five innings at the  Coastal Carolina invitational tournament.

The Tigers scored at least one run in each inning, including three in the fourth. Senior pitcher Stacy Delaney won her third win of the season and has a 1.04 ERA. The Tiger pitcher struck out five Chanticleers.

Senior Lindsey Ubrun's three-run homer in the top of the fourth inning gave the Tigers an 8-0 lead. Ubrun had five RBI in the game.

The Tigers will take on Michigan State beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.  Missouri will play two games on Saturday, the second coming against No 15. North Carolina at 11 a.m.
