MU's Delaney wins Big 12 softball award

COLUMBIA - Missouri softball pitcher Stacy Delaney was named Big 12 Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday.

Delaney helped No. 16 Missouri to a 4-0 record at the Coastal Carolina Tournament last weekend in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The senior right-hander threw a no-hitter Sunday in MU's 8-0 win against No. 15 North Carolina. Delaney also tossed a shutout on Friday against Coastal Carolina.

She threw 10 innings at the tournament and held hitters to a .063 batting average. Delaney is 4-1 this season with a 0.91 ERA.
