The peanut products were distributed through the company's store in the Los Angeles Farmers Market and through the Internet from Jan. 1, 2007, to Feb. 13, 2009. Funway Snack Foods is recalling Funway Caramel Apples that contain peanut products. No known illnesses have been reported, according to the company. The products were distributed in California, Arizona and Nevada through retail food stores, wholesalers and direct to customer sales. Funway Caramel apples distributed from Feb. 1 to Feb. 23, 2009, are involved in the recall. Affected products can be identified by best before dates from Feb. 17, 2009, to March 10, 2009.
