Missouri softball completes sweep of Baylor

The Missouri softball team completed a two-game sweep with a 7-1 win against Baylor on Sunday afternoon at Getterman Stadium in Waco, Texas.

Sophomore first baseman Marla Schweisberger went 3-for-4 with three RBIs to lead the Tigers.

Schweisberger put the Tigers on top in the first inning with a single that plated two runs. The Tigers stole three bases to set up the two-run first inning.

Kristin Nottelman (8-0) picked up the victory, giving up one run over five innings. Stacy Delaney finished the game with two scoreless frames.

The Tigers, who came back to beat Baylor 2-1 on Saturday, improved to 30-4 on the season and 3-1 in the Big 12 Conference.  Missouri has won five straight games.

The Tigers next play Wednesday with a doubleheader against Kansas in Lawrence.
