COLUMBIA — MU Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found hanging from a rope at a golf course.

The man's body was found early Saturday in a shelter pavilion near the seventh hole of the A.L. Gustin Golf Course.

Police said a death investigation is under way. Capt. Brian Weimer said there were no signs of foul play.

Police are withholding the victim's name, because family members have not been notified.
