Missouri softball player Marla Schweisberger was named the Big 12 Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday, the sixth weekly honor for a Tiger this season. The award gives Missouri its most weekly awards in a season since 1994, when nine players earned Big Eight honors.

Schweisberger, a sophomore first baseman, helped Missouri go 3-0 this weekend against Oklahoma State and Southern Illinois. Schweisberger hit three home runs and scored six runs over the weekend.
