Rock Bridge takes first in Helias Invitational golf tournament

COLUMBIA – The Rock Bridge boys golf team placed first in Sunday’s Helias Invitational Tournament at Meadowlake Acres Country Club.

The Bruins shot a 320 and were led by Wilson Sunvold, who finished fourth overall with a 77. Andrew McGinnis shot an 80, finishing tenth overall, while Tyler Cornell contributed with an 81, Scott Skrabal had an 82 and Tyler Kolb shot an 86.

Meanwhile, the Hickman boys team finished fifth in the 16-team tournament, led by Cruz Buchanan’s 81. Taylor Cox added an 82. Mike Wilson shot an 86. Graham Lloyd had an 87, and Tyler Daly recorded a 93.
