JEFFERSON CITY — A new House Republican plan to use Missouri's federal stimulus money for a tax cut gets its first airing in a House committee meeting today. Last week, House Speaker Ron Richard said Republican lawmakers still are working out the details of how the tax rebate would be distributed. He estimated it would amount to $500 per taxpayer.
