ST. LOUIS — A strong thunderstorm has torn part of the facade off a hotel in downtown St. Louis.

The St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission said suites at the Renaissance St. Louis Hotel were evacuated Tuesday. No injuries were reported and guests will be moved to other hotels.

The hotel is located next to the America's Center convention center. That facility was not damaged.
