MU announces interim dean of graduate school

COLUMBIA — George Justice was named interim dean of the MU graduate school effective July 1, the university announced Wednesday. He succeeds Pam Benoit, who is taking a job at Ohio University. 

Justice, who is associate dean of the graduate school, has a bachelor's degree in English from Wesleyan University and a doctorate in English from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to coming to MU, Justice taught at Marquette University and Louisiana State University.

Plans to find a permanent dean will be announced within the next few weeks, an MU news release said.
