COLUMBIA — Traffic on Sixth Street from Conley Avenue to Stewart Road will close in both directions starting Saturday for underground utility work. The parking lot north of Townsend Hall will also be closed. Drivers with handicapped parking permits should park in the handicapped spaces on the first floor of Conley Avenue Garage. Reopening of Sixth Street is set for Oct. 28.
