KINGDOM CITY — A Kingdom City man is missing and presumed dead after his boat capsized on a private pond.

The victim is 56-year-old Roger Redmon. The Missouri State Water Patrol says that on Sunday, Redmon took his utility boat out to check trotlines on a private pond. When he didn't return, relatives went to look for him and found his boat floating upside down.

A dragging operation is under way.
