The Missouri women's golf team won its first tournament of the season Tuesday at the Chip-N-Club Invitational.  The Tigers were one of four Big 12 Conference teams to compete in the 14-team tournament in Lincoln, Neb.

The Tigers posted rounds of 299, 291, and 288, the third-lowest 54-hole score for the program. Julia Potter, Michelle Morgan and Ahnna Kim shared fourth place overall with a three-round total of 217.

Before Tuesday's victory, Mizzou's last championship was the Johnie Imes Invitational in October of 2007. The Tigers will compete next at the Napa River Grill Invitational on Sept. 21 and 22.
