The following incident occurred early Friday morning. A previous version of this story misidentified when it took place.
COLUMBIA — An MU student who was run over by a bus at a Rocheport winery early Friday morning is in serious condition at University Hospital.
The bus was leaving the parking lot of Les Bourgeois Vineyards around 1 a.m. when 22-year-old MU student Brian Lindsey of Springfield tried to stop it. He fell under the bus, which ran over Lindsey, came to a rest on top of him and then backed off.
Lindsey was taken to University Hospital where he was listed in serious condition.
