Missouri volleyball takes down UMKC

The Missouri women's volleyball team defeated in-state rival University of Missouri-Kansas City 3-0 Wednesday.

Junior outside hitter Paola Ampudia led the team with nine kills against the Kangaroos. Junior Caitlyn Vann came through for the Tigers with a team-best 13 digs. With the victory, Missouri extended its home winning streak to 5-0.

The Tigers' Big 12 conference play resumes Saturday when they play Texas A&M at 6:30 p.m. at the Hearnes Center.
