ST. LOUIS — The FBI office in St. Louis has arrested more child predator suspects than any other FBI field office.

The agency said Wednesday that 107 child predator suspects have been arrested in the past two years by agents in the St. Louis office. That's the highest total reached by any of the 56 FBI field offices.

The FBI elaborated on the announcement at a late-morning news conference.

The St. Louis field office covers all of eastern Missouri, with satellite offices in Kirksville, St. Charles, Rolla and Cape Girardeau.
